Minnesota GreenStar

Primary Logo

The Minnesota GreenStar Primary logo comes in two forms- one with ‘Certified Green Homes and Remodeling’ and one without the tagline.

Minnesota GreenStar is the only permissible user of the Primary logo(s).  Use by any party other than Minnesota GreenStar for any reason is not allowed.



Sponsor Logo

The Minnesota GreenStar Sponsor logo comes in different forms that vary based on the type of sponsor (‘Champion’, ‘Supporter’, etc.). 

The Sponsor logo is not for use by any other than Minnesota GreenStar sponsors that have signed BOTH a valid ‘Sponsorship & Donation Agreement’ and a ‘Service Mark License Agreement’ for the current year.  It must be used in connection with the company sponsoring Minnesota GreenStar only. 

Minnesota GreenStar is the sole distributor of the Sponsor logo.  The logo may not be obtained by any party from any source other than Minnesota GreenStar.

The Sponsor logo is not to be cropped in any way.  It may not be made too small to read or made so large it becomes distorted.  The colors and text are not to be changed.

Certified Project Logo

The Minnesota GreenStar Certified Project logo comes in different forms that vary based on the type of project (New Home / Remodel I, II, III, or IV) and the level of certification (Bronze, Silver, Gold). 

The Certified Project logo is not for use by any other than Minnesota GreenStar registrants that have submitted a Minnesota GreenStar Certified Green Homes and Remodeling Registration form, paid the appropriate project fee, and received official Project Certification from Minnesota GreenStar for a new home or remodel project under the Minnesota GreenStar program.  It must be used in connection with the Certified Project (the home) only.  It MAY NOT be used by a company that is not connected to said project and it MAY NOT be used to promote a company or cause in absence of the project it refers to.

Minnesota GreenStar is the sole distributor of the Certified Project logo.  The logo may not be obtained by any party from any source other than Minnesota GreenStar.

Minnesota GreenStar Member Logo

The Member logo is not for use by any other than Minnesota GreenStar Corporate Members, Individual Members and Student Members that have signed a ‘Membership Agreement Form’ AND paid the respective Membership fee.  It may be used for one year from the Member’s sign-up date.

Minnesota GreenStar is the sole distributor of the Member logo.  The logo may not be obtained by any party from any source other than Minnesota GreenStar.

For Corporate Members:

The Member logo may be used for business purposes only.  Possible scenarios include use on a valid Minnesota GreenStar Corporate Member’s company letterhead, website, for company advertising purposes, etc.


For Individual/Student Members:

The Member logo may be used for individual purposes only.  Possible scenarios include use on a valid Minnesota GreenStar Individual or Student Member’s business card, email signature, etc.The Member logo MAY NOT be used for business purposes such as on company letterhead, website, for company advertising purposes, etc.
